Hola! I´m Anthony Black MCMI. CMgr, coordinator of this network and founder of A Home in Spain. I began my first property business in 1982 in the UK ( which gives my age away 🙂 ) and moved to Spain in 2014. At first I restored several old properties to their original beauty, and sold them as affordable housing. Since selling, their value has doubled, proving an excellent ROI for the investors.
Today I work in a broader role, not as an agent but as an independent consultant, qualified as a Chartered Business Manager¹ (member of The Chartered Management Institute.) I am now part of a network based in Andalucia, Extremadura and Gibraltar with the most respected professionals, each licensed in their respective fields. Between us we speak many languages.
It´s a wonderful job to have, helping dreams come true in one of the most beautiful parts of the world. It is also helpful being independent, and thereby impartial and unbiased in the services we provide or recommend to our clients.
My background also includes the Military (US and British Army), Hotel and Leisure Consultancy, followed by 15 years in the Charity sector. Firstly as a director of one of Princess Diana´s charities (Leprosy) for 10 years, and as her “Royal Envoy” to India. (Where I was honoured by her introducing me as her “trusted friend”)*. Also as the co-founder of two other charities, one in Southampton (Careline™) and the other in Jerusalem, Israel (Reconciliation International™).
Our HQ is based in Andalucia on the Costa del Sol. We also have offices in Extremadura and Gibraltar. Our network extends over five continents with partners, coordinators, advisors, friends and supporters of our charitable ventures. Our current reach is 24,000+ directly, and through the usual social media platforms. We aim to increase this substantially over the coming months.
